We received these as a Christmas gift, and thought they would be lots of fun for our 6 month old. They are fun, and I really like the concept, but was disappointed to see that only one Maraca lit up and only one made noises. So of course, my son only plays with the one that makes noise. The one that lights up is too heavy for him to hold, and it sometimes takes a good shake to get the colors/noises to change. Hopefully my opinion of these toys will change as he grows and learns to appreciate the different features of the Maracas.

Both nephews, and both my kids, all different ages, were wild about these.

This was definitely a fun toy with the maracas…it was more entertaining then educational. Unfortunately with all the sounds and music you really couldn’t hear the programmed voice teaching.

My daughter goes off and on with this toy, like any other toy, she likes to shake and hit it, not sure if she cares that it makes the music, she does like the maraca aspect to it. I could do withou the spanish and she flips the switch and then spanish comes out, talk about irritating.
