I purchased this item for my 9th grader hoping that there would be some fun learning activities to reinforce what she has learned or will learn. There are no learning activities, mostly text. The Spanish flash cards held the most promise, but if you do not have international symbols loaded on your keyboard and apply the correct accent, the program does not proceed. The history and science portion is nothing but text. Well, she can read her own textbook. BORING. The program does not work well either. The interface is awkward, and does not work well. The program seems to have been written in DOS and just upgraded with basic button interface for the menus. Very poorly done. All-in-all a total waste of money. I will probably not ever purchase a Broderbund product again. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!!!
