<description>I purchased this for my 1st grade classroom because I pretty much spent last year wishing for one. I have this on my calendar to keep track of days and teach place value. This is brightly colored (and matches the colors of my room, conveniently and nicely enough) and the letters and numbers are easy-to-read. My favorite feature is the storage pouch--very handy, no straws and numbers lost.

<description>I will be using this place value chart in my homeschool preschool this fall. I let my preschooler try it out today and he enjoyed counting out the correct number of rods and placing them in the pocket of the corresponding number. A great place value tool, and I like that it can be hung on the way instead of taking up floor/storage space like so many of our other educational activities.
