This book is very interesting and a very quick read. It’s broken down by topic and most of the issues are very current. The author also includes topics that are “enduring issues”. Each section has a brief overview of the topic and two articles that represent opposing sides of the issue. This is a very interesting book. Anyone who is involved with or interested in education will find it to be very thought provoking.

I found this book to be excellent generator of dialogue in my Educational Foundation Grad class. It is balanced in giving PRO & CON on essential educational theories and issues.
