I bought this game because my son likes cars. But really, this game has nothing to do with cars. It is a “matching” type of game. You just quickly put cards in stacks that don’t match any other card already in the stack either by color or item. Whoever does this the quickest with the least mistakes wins.
“Top Speed” isn’t a bad game. And it is about speed. But the game could have been about bugs or horses or anything. My son had fun playing it a few times, but it quickly loses its charm. That is no doubt why it is so cheap.
I have three other games by this manufacturer that are great–that my kids want to play all the time. “Top Speed” just isn’t one of those great ones. And, other than the pictures on the cards, it really has nothing to do with automobile racing or even cars for that matter. Okay for the few dollars it cost though.
