    The author enjoyed a successful career in commerce and then set out to apply his business knowledge to the important issues facing the country and the world. In the course of doing that he traveled much, enjoyed many successes, met fascinating people, and accomplished a great deal for the common good, both locally and at large.

    This book is an example for adults of any age. It teaches that one should reach high, work hard, and persevere. It is not necessary to sacrifice oneself in order to do good. And, if Mr. Brand is an example, one can have a grand and satisfying time along the way.
